I grew up in small business, think everything on paper…no really, everything. I’ve worked in the big city where red tape is the name of the game. Building software solutions and spending untold hours perfecting them only to scrap the entire project? I’ve done that too. If there’s one thing I’ve learned it’s that technology shouldn’t get in the way of achieving your goals.

Tech companies, law firms, corporate America or a mom and pop shop…there’s no question that technology allows us to reach more people, more effectively run our businesses and help keep costs at a minimum. In a world where innovation is the name of the game, we’re still holding fast to business norms that don’t necessarily apply to today’s dreams.

Luckily, the world of technology has always come easily to me. I have a knack for understanding complex tools, figuring out how to manipulate them and then use them to my best advantage. Explaining my thought process and enabling others to do the same is an added bonus and something I love to share. Tools are not always what they seem and it’s an exciting challenge to harness them in a way that works for me.
